Nature Connections Sensory Awareness
What is "Sensory Awareness"? Sensory awareness in simplest terms is a fancy phrase used to describe the opening up of the five main human senses including, sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. During sensory awareness exercises, we study the most acute equivalent of senses in the animal kingdom and fine tune our own to be just like the animal studied. For example, we will study and focus in on our sense of sight and compare it to the owl since owls are known for their superb sight. Then we do exercises to support widening our sense of sight through what we call "wide angle vision." We will learn about wide angle vision exercises in our live classes. Check out some of these remarkable sensory awareness resource videos below including a Norwegian Outdoor kindergarten, which I find very inspirational.

Outdoor Schools
Outdoor schools are promoting a "back to nature" initiative with bold and daring sensory awareness activities wherein children as young as kindergarten age are taught to experience nature with all of their senses by being in an outdoor immersion program, hence I have included the videos below under sensory awareness. Check out these Norwegian schools that do such.
