Projects & Activities
- Select a favorite mineral from this study. Draw its various crystal forms in your Rock & Minerals Journal. Color the crystals
- Create a map of your favorite mineral or all three from this study. You can use the links from Mindat.org above per mineral. Draw or print out pictures of your minerals and glue to a world map. There are many free maps you can print out such as with Wikimedia Commons at this link: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Maps_of_the_world. You may need to resize the map on your computer after sliding it to your desktop to get a decent size.
- If any of these minerals can be found in your local area, consider rockhounding for them.
