The Birds Journal Page
Keeping a nature journal for your sit spot experiences is a marvelous opportunity to record your observations. The usual method we use is to go to your sit spot, do your "dirt time" and then afterwards (at least within a 24 hour period) journal about your experience. You end up journaling from your "mind's eyes" exercising your memory muscles. This allows you better focus when your outdoors at your sit spot to just focus on nature instead of the paper and writing utensil at hand. Below are some helpful resources for use with journaling about your bird experiences including a sample page from my own Kamana 2 journal.

This is an entry I made for my Kamana adult correspondence course I did in 2010 about the Blue Jay. Check out the details. You don't have to be as detailed, but you're welcome to be as detailed or more detailed.
